Future Museum Dubai
It is Dubai's smart urban, energy, and transportation: a glimpse into the future at the Museum of the Future.
A nine-story elliptical wonder has gently taken shape along Dubai's 14th-lane Sheikh Zayed Road, amidst the cascading skyscrapers, elevated metro, and American fast food restaurants.
The Museums of the Future, a $136 million government-funded exhibition, offers tourists a glimpse into the future. However, the project is also an illustration of how structures may be built and erected in the future: a combination of human expertise and computer power.
It is a Museum of the Tomorrow in Dubai was just opened up to the public. On February 23, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, VP and PM of the UAE, officially opened it. The museum purportedly takes the guests on an experience voyage, bringing visitors to the future year 2071, to commemorate with the centennial of the formation of the UAE. The larger goal, according to its creators, is to serve as a hatchery for scientists, philosophers, and scientists to bring their ambitious ideas and future visions to reality.
On the one hand, the Museum of the Coming years in Dubai is a one-of-a-kind architectural work (it has already been named one of the 14 most wonderful museums in the world by National Geographic) and, on the other, a propeller of concepts that, at least in the Emir's intentions, could promote a global intellectual movement. It seeks to promote the study of Arab persons who have exceptional skill in core areas deemed critical to development.
